Just when things were going good...Another Lay-Off for my husband. Hard times but we are thinking positive and thankful for what we do have....I'm still wanting to scream though! We've been through this so many times that part of me doesn't get stressed about it, but the other part of me is furious and wants to know "WHY US????? " Maybe it's a test??
I did have my little cry out on the deck and said a little prayer....wait ... no I BEGGED for some help and for a job for Mark so we 'd be okay, and while I was freaking out at the universe my husband was on the phone rounding up a job. I swear I no longer finished saying, "Please help us get through this..." when Mark opened the door and said quite proudly, " I have a job and I can start Monday!" I was soooo grateful!
The one thing we've learned from our hardships together is that we'll be okay as long as we keep trying and never give up. Life is not easy these days with the cost of living going up and job losses going up. I just hope this is the last time we have to go through this. I don't wish this on anybody!

Our 19th

Another year has gone by and still we stand together. It hasn't always been easy but we made it! It's great how everything works out when you work together and realize what is important and work hard to keep it. Over dinner we shared some good laughs and looked back over the past 21 years together and just cannot imagine our lives without each other, our children and all that we have accomplished as a couple. It was a wonderful evening thanks to our very good friends, Brad (our best man) and Margot (my best girl!) who treated us to a fantastic dinner at the Lodge. It was a great evening and such a thoughtful gift! Even the rain stopped for us this night, which I am very grateful for. Cheers!

Sometimes my horoscope is eerily accurate!! Right now I am definately biting off more than I can chew....so to speak. My very good friend, Margot is going home to Germany to visit her family and celebrate her mother's 70th birthday SO she asked my to do a Family Album for her and it needs to be finished in ....oh...10 days or so!!! I've been scrapbooking my little fingers to the bone the past 2 days, thank goodness it is rainy and crappy out so the garden and lake aren't calling out to me! I'll post some pics soon . Also I am doing some necklaces for a Bridal Party for Aug. 02 which I am super excited about because it's great advertising! Also Margot wants me to come up with some wares for her web-site so I need to get my head wrapped around that and come up with some ideas for her. GO BIG!!

Michaela's Grade 8 Graduation

Okay, so I'm having a difficult time thinking that my baby is going to High School in September! She's too little!! She is my last baby entering Dryden High and it seems like not too long ago I was bringing her to her kindergarten class. Wow, it is going by way too fast.

Her graduation at St. Josephs school was very nice and the kids had a blast at the dance. I was in charge of the decorations this year and decided that no one has done an "Arabian Nights" theme and so that is just what we did! The pictures turned out great and I was happy with the end result. The dance was 3 hours long and so the decorating was simple and to the point . I think it went over well. Next year I have Cameron graduating high school.....here I go again!

Happy Birthday Cam!!

Today my son Cameron turns 17! He is my second oldest child and is a wonderful young man. Cam and I are very close , he has a huge heart and a calm ,patient personality. He also has a great sense of humour and likes to tease me. I get back at him by annoucing how much I love him when I drop him off in front of the high school!

Cam loves to do his best in everything he does whether it's music, art, school or chores around the house and loves to have fun with his family and friends. It's hard to believe 17 years have gone by and he is thinking about where he should go to university or college...... I'm sad thinking about the day that he leaves but know that he will be great in whatever path he decides to take. I hope you have a great birthday Cam! I LOVE YOU!!!

The last time I took a picture of my studio it was a blizzard so I thought a pic on a sunny day would be appropriate for June. It's the best place to be when the sun is shining! Recharges my imagination and my batteries!

It was so beautiful for a whole entire day on Sunday!!!! I did some fun stuff in the studio and worked on Graduation decorations in between the running with kids. What a great day!
