I started a collage a couple of weeks ago and I am slowly picking away at it. It's not a planned piece, so I do spend most of my time staring at it until it speaks to me and tells me what I should do next! I really enjoy working with mixed media and experimenting with layouts. It's a great way to keep the creative juices flowing and have some fun in between the more serious pieces. I hope to work on it some more this week and complete it so I can hang it over my fireplace. It's a tad whimsical and the colours are playful and bright which I find perfect for Spring!
