I am off for 4 days !!!! The picture of these Pugs makes me want to lay around with a good book and a cozy blanket!!! But......... I have my daughters room ripped apart and I guess I should paint it and pretty it up like I promised her. And to think, all this room makeover business started with the chandelier I made for her! I'll post the pics whenever the computer will let me but until then enjoy the ones I find on Flickr. They are cute!
This lovely pooch is modelling some handmade goodies from his lucky owners who business ,Beantown Handmade, makes knitted clothing for pets. Check them out if you like to dress up your puppy for winter! Hmmmm I bet a nice necklace would complete the out fit!
My new favourite puppy is a Boston Terrier and while cruising through Flickr I came upon this hysterical photo!! I love it! I still love the schmoochy faced Pug but I am starting to lean toward this breed instead. It has nothing to do with the fact that my hockey crazy husband's favourite team is the Boston Bruins, but I'm sure I could use this little tidbit in negotiations!!
The weather man is calling for some more of that fluffy white stuff tonight and I'm looking forward to it! I love the snow, it means the temperature is dropping and it just makes our surroundings look magical! Maybe I'll go outside and make some snow angels , play in the snow and have some winter fun!
My own 3 children inspired this painting years ago when they were a whole lot younger. I love this painting because it reminds me of childhood fun and innocence. I wish I was 8 again!
This year Mark and I were lucky to be invited to a magical outdoor wedding for our friends Tasha and Blair. The wedding took place in an ice castle that was built by the goom and his wonderful friends. The ice castle took 3 weeks to build, boasts over 3000 blocks of ice which were cut out of Eagle Lake by power saws in -35 to -40 below conditions!! It was truly a night I won't forget! After the Bride and Groom were pronounced husband and wife a huge bon-fire was lit, music played, and a fantastic fireworks display lit up the sky! What a beautiful way to celebrate a new life together and a New Year!
